I have had an underactive thyroid fior almost 30yrs and have been described 125mcg of Thyroxine. I know that this dosage is not relieving my symptoms but UK Doctors are reticent about thyroid hormones (it took me over 20yrs to get prescribed 50mcg and years more arguing to get it increased to it’s current level).
